A box of 12 chocolates priced at €33.50 captures Da Silva’s online proposition: a recognisable collection with its own story and presentation. The Los viñedos de España product page connects flavours with wine regions and identifies the company’s workshop in Mercaolid, Valladolid. Product, narrative and the option to order share the same digital shop window.

That shop window extends a business whose own history dates its beginnings to March 13, 2014. Rubén Da Silva and Judit Ballesteros are the names behind the products and the current store. Branding agency Capitán Quimera’s published case describes how identity, boxes and an Instagram account were coordinated to introduce the offer to consumers. Search interest in chocolate adds a calendar to that commercial decision.

Boxed-chocolate searches follow a different calendar from chocolate generally

In the Spanish comparison of “bombones” and “chocolate”, the first expression recorded its highest index in the week of December 14–20, 2025: 16 points. It stood at four in the week of October 11–17, 2026. “Chocolate”, a broader search, reached the comparison’s maximum of 100 in the week of December 21–27, 2025, and registered 62 in the latest complete observed week.

The two expressions share the comparison’s scale. Their movement places the strongest relative interest in boxed chocolates close to Christmas shopping, while also showing a base of searches through the rest of the year. For a store selling collections, the useful distinction is between commercial preparation and the moment a specific intention becomes more prominent.

Da Silva organises its shop around names such as Tradición, Imagina, Jara y Floral, Vuelta a la infancia and Los viñedos de España. That structure gives different reasons to consider a purchase within one category. A collection can enter the conversation as a gift, a memory or a flavour combination before a buyer searches for a particular brand. The search calendar helps place that presentation work in time.

One identity connects the box, Instagram and the store

Capitán Quimera describes work that began with theobromine as a visual motif and carried it into a logo, colour palette and system of icons. The identity extended to the five collections, with boxes, leaflets and sleeves, as well as workshop signage and the online shop. The same visual language could accompany a product on a screen and in its physical presentation.

The agency dates the Instagram account’s activation to April 2026. It reports a rise from 53 to 183 followers during its first five months, with about 9,700 people reached and 21,400 accumulated views across 66 posts. The community added 130 followers from a small starting base.

The commercial mechanism brings together three specific elements: content through which a collection can be discovered, packaging that makes it identifiable and an owned product page displaying price, composition and purchasing options. The store gives the product an explanation beyond an individual social post. In Los viñedos de España, for example, the wine journey becomes references to Jerez, Ribera del Duero, Bierzo and Priorat, among others.

The wider consumer audience sits alongside the high-end hotel and restaurant business described by the agency. Direct retail adds a way to present the collections by name and offer them individually.

Apparent-consumption value rose as volume fell in 2024

The category’s economic context requires separating euros from quantity. Produlce puts apparent cocoa and chocolate consumption in Spain at €2,106.2 million in 2024, compared with €1,958.9 million in 2023. Physical volume fell from 245,700 to 236,000 metric tonnes. The association reports growth of 7.5% in value and a decline of 3.9% in volume.

The divergence shows how consumption value can grow while physical volume declines. For an artisan offer, competition also concerns the value of each purchase occasion: the format, composition and presentation behind the ticket. The gap between euros and tonnes does not by itself identify how much comes from prices, a changing product mix or buyers’ decisions.

Da Silva displays the same €33.50 price for the five collections in its store. The Los viñedos de España page specifies 12 pieces. This commercial structure makes it easier to choose by story and flavour preference at a common collection price.

Boxed chocolates carry more weight in value than in volume

Produlce’s published cocoa and chocolate format mix for 2024 offers a distinction closer to the product. Boxed chocolates account for 16.4% of value and 10.1% of volume in that mix. Chocolate bars hold the largest value share, at 32.5%, while soluble cocoa and drinking chocolate lead physical volume, at 32.9%.

The greater relative weight of boxed chocolates in euros places the box in a different commercial setting from buying product by quantity. The collection, finish and role as a gift can form part of the choice. That reading gives an economic purpose to the combined packaging and shop-window work.

The Los viñedos de España page makes that differentiation visible: it presents a selection inspired by wines and regions, lists ingredients and allergens and explains storage. The creative proposition is accompanied by information needed for a food purchase. The store brings two conversations into the same place that can be separated on a social network: why the collection is interesting and exactly what the customer is buying.

Digital reach ends with a specific delivery

On the Spanish map of relative search interest for “bombones”, Asturias records the highest index, 100; Cantabria and Ceuta appear at 76 and Castile and León, where the workshop is located, at 75. The indices compare the query’s relative prominence within each area.

An owned store’s geographical reach also comes with physical conditions. The product page recommends storage between 15°C and 18°C in a cool, dry place away from light. It publishes a mainland delivery window of 48–96 working hours after payment confirmation. The purchase terms identify a chilled transport service and explain that orders are not dispatched on Fridays so they do not remain stationary through the weekend.

That detail changes how an occasion is sold. Between discovering a box and receiving it on time comes a decision about date, destination and storage. Regional search interest shows where the query stands out; the delivery proposition determines what the store can offer a specific purchase. The map covers Spain, while the published shipping areas distinguish the mainland and the Balearic Islands.

When the €33.50 box is chosen as a gift, its delivery date becomes part of the proposition’s value. The published 48–96 working-hour window, chilled transport and chocolate storage requirements make advance preparation relevant. That gives an early collection presentation a commercial purpose: allowing time for a perishable gift to make the trip.
