Someone who needs to handle a sales objection can retrieve the answer from a course without watching the whole video. That is the example 360Learning uses to explain AI Companion. The change opens a route to growth for its platform: showing that purchased knowledge gets used again when a problem arises at work.

In its Search Mode update , dated September 7, 2026, the company describes conversational search across internal courses and documents. The commercial argument becomes more precise when it connects that query to a completed task. An available answer can save a search; keeping it correct and applicable requires preserving the content's context.

A query needs an owner of the knowledge

Corporate training incurs costs before anyone opens a course: the specialist who explains a procedure, the person who turns it into content and the team that reviews it. Generating a lesson quickly reduces part of that work. Keeping the explanation current still requires understanding the procedure and deciding when it has changed.

Search adds another pressure. An outdated course can sit unread; a conversational response can deliver its instruction straight to an employee. Review dates, authorship and the limits of application therefore have commercial value. They help the buyer decide which knowledge can inform a task and which question needs to reach an expert.

360Learning's AI guide itself calls for reviewing generated content for accuracy and relevance, especially in compliance or highly specialised subjects. That review time is part of the service. Producing more drafts without increasing the capacity to validate them can move work from creation into a queue of corrections.

For the supplier, the most useful demonstration follows a specific question through to its resolution: what content supported the answer, which version the person used and when additional help was needed. That sequence can reveal an improvement applicable to the next use. A total query count does not distinguish useful answers from repeated attempts and unresolved questions.

The global KPMG and University of Melbourne survey shows a gap between use and training. That gap does not prove that a product closes it: it explains why an accessible answer also requires the judgement to check it. The commercial design needs to accommodate different starting points.

The data behind the story

AI use exceeds training in all three age groups

Survey respondents across 47 countries and jurisdictions, November 2024 to mid-January 2025.

Archiving content also requires a decision

The Action Mode presentation , updated October 5, extends the offer into catalogue management. 360Learning describes actions such as changing tags or archiving content and says higher-impact operations require confirmation, with visible changes and a revert function.

Those controls have an economic purpose. An archive instruction could remove a procedure still needed by a small group. Lack of recent use alone does not establish that it is obsolete: emergency training can matter even when few people consult it. An owner needs to decide what the signal means before acting on it.

Automation gains value when it reduces the work of locating content that needs a decision while preserving who may make it. A limited buyer trial should include exceptions, permissions and the ability to recover withdrawn material. Saved clicks are part of the balance; the cost of correcting a mistaken action completes the calculation.

Insights Mode offers queries about completion rates, course results and other learning statistics; the company says answers include a source users can inspect. That traceability helps review the calculation. Turning completion into a financial return also requires observing which task improved and separating the effect of other changes.

A customer can compare the time needed to resolve the same type of request, cases returned to specialists and errors requiring rework. Attributing a difference to the platform requires comparable periods and groups, using the same quality standard. These are measures for evaluating an implementation, rather than results already established for 360Learning.

The data behind the story

29% of surveyed companies in Spain pass the training threshold

Companies reporting AI or generative AI training for more than one-quarter of their workforce. Selected countries and global reference; survey conducted September to December 2024.

BCG surveyed 1,803 senior executives. European companies included had revenue of at least USD500 million. The percentage counts companies, not workers; it represents neither all Spanish firms nor training effectiveness.

The reach of training is not the same as its effectiveness. In BCG’s sample, 29% of surveyed companies in Spain reported training more than one-quarter of their workforce in AI or generative AI. Broader access can create a commercial opportunity for 360Learning; renewal then requires a distinction between coverage, learning and work resolved.

Licences and useful activity have different units

The pricing page lists the Team plan at $8 per user per month for up to 100 users. Business and Enterprise require a quote and allow registered and monthly active users to be combined in one contract. The entry price cannot determine the cost of an enterprise deployment with a different population or terms.

The choice matters when regular employee users share a platform with customers or partners who visit occasionally. The contract determines whom the supplier bills and how often; the buyer needs to identify which activity justifies that expense. Increasing visits to improve an internal metric can add consumption or administration without resolving an additional need.

The same page describes professional services for integration, migration and guidance. The complete budget needs to include those tasks and the time of internal experts reviewing content. Multiplying a tariff by headcount is insufficient: preparing the knowledge and keeping it current shapes the cost of using it.

In its security commitments , 360Learning presents policies for responsible AI use and customer control of data. When a buyer brings proprietary information, the assessment needs to establish which content will be available, to whom and under which contract. A demonstration with generic material leaves out that part of the work.

The commercial trial can begin with a procedure that changes frequently and whose execution has an observable cost. The buyer gains a basis for comparing search, review and resolution; the supplier discovers which part of implementation needs more support. Extending the contract into other areas makes sense when that work can be repeated at a verifiable quality level.

That is the route to growth that makes 360Learning's proposition distinctive: preserving the usefulness of knowledge after training is complete. Renewal is easier to defend when the customer can identify which answers still resolve work, who keeps them current and what it costs to maintain them. Each course expands the catalogue; each problem resolved well can strengthen the value of the licence.
