The price of a real estate contact is known before a call. Its value emerges later, when the owner responds, confirms an intention to sell and agrees to explore a transaction. For iSpeedToLead, which sells home-seller contacts individually, the distance between those moments determines whether a customer pays again.

The platform proposes replacing part of a buyer’s own lead generation with a marketplace of identified opportunities. That commercial proposition is defensible if advance information reduces wasted work and the terms make clear who carries the risk of a defective contact. Its own public pages show why the second part needs as much precision as the first: they do not describe repayment in the same way.

The guarantee needs to explain what the buyer gets back

The pricing page allows an account to be opened and listings examined without a subscription. It presents property information, the owner’s motivation, timing and a DealPredictor grade before payment. Prices vary by contact and market; there is no single national price from which to infer the cost of acquiring a property.

That visibility can improve selection, but a listing is not a conversation with an owner. Nor does a high grade establish that a transaction will close. The platform sells access to a commercial opportunity, while negotiation, checks and execution remain with the buyer. Confusing those products may help the first purchase while weakening the next.

In a blog article about refunds , iSpeedToLead describes a 21-day window for eligible Exclusive and Active leads and distinguishes a contact defect from the outcome of a deal. It explains, for example, that a seller’s excessively high price expectations are not, by themselves, a refundable defect. The same article describes cash-value refunds for those categories.

However, the official refund-balance guide , updated on 6 April 2026, says approved amounts become credit for future purchases, without an external payment. The general pricing page refers buyers to the current terms inside their account. The public sources consulted do not resolve which repayment method applies to each purchase; they do not justify promising readers a cash refund.

The distinction has a specific economic effect. Credit can replace one contact with another inside the platform; an external repayment returns liquidity for other uses. Publishing a consistent rule by category, with the repayment method and conditions before charging, would make the risk easier to assess. That improves a buying decision without assuming how many claims the company receives or what margin it earns.

More contacts compete for a finite pool of completed transactions

The US context does not allow more seller information to be equated with more home sales. The 2021-2024 historical selection from Statista’s series shows a fall from 6.12 million to 4.06 million sales. It measures national existing-home transactions, not iSpeedToLead contacts or its customers’ probability of closing.

The original NAR data published in October 2026 records 4.06 million existing-home sales in 2025, the same rounded total as 2024. A contact database can grow even when that market does not. Under those conditions, showing that an opportunity fits a buyer’s strategy is more persuasive than presenting record counts as assured economic growth.

Buying opportunities also has an alternative. In a Real Brokerage survey of 569 agents in the United States and Canada, conducted from 24 April to 6 May 2026, 60% identified referrals and previous clients as their most effective source. It does not represent all investors or evaluate iSpeedToLead. It does prevent an assumption that paid acquisition is the only alternative to having no business.

A national median does not set a local opportunity’s value

NAR’s regional series distinguishes another part of the decision: where the operator buys. In 2025, the median existing single-family home sales price was $628,600 in the West and $321,100 in the Midwest. These are sold-home prices, not investor profit, commissions or amounts that should be paid for a contact.

A higher-priced home can require more capital and different acquisition or renovation costs. The regional difference therefore does not justify automatically doubling a lead budget. A buyer needs to relate the contact price to the area, property type and ability to complete a transaction. Regional data helps reject a uniform national promise; it does not replace a local valuation.

NAR’s methodology uses a sample of boards and listing services and weights volume by region. Medians also reflect the mix of homes that sell. They do not describe an exclusive inventory of discounted properties or establish a return on the contacts sold by the platform.

Automated buying needs observation after the purchase

The AutoMatch page describes geographical and property filters, a bid per contact and a monthly spending limit. Automation reduces the need to watch manually for each new opportunity. It also moves review towards the rules a buyer configures and the results subsequently compared.

The spending limit contains outlay, but does not establish that selection is profitable. The company attributes better conversion to its automated buyers; the pages consulted do not offer an independent comparison separating the tool’s effect from those customers’ experience, budgets or market choices. An observed difference between groups cannot simply become an effect caused by automation.

A useful measure of continued value combines contacts purchased, owners actually reached, opportunities meeting the criteria and completed transactions. Follow-up time and repayments belong in that process, with credit separated from returned cash. That process lets buyers evaluate the service using their own costs and results.

The next purchase is the most demanding commercial test of a contact marketplace. It requires a buyer to reconstruct what was received, which work remained the buyer’s responsibility and what protection applied when information failed. Selling more opportunities becomes more defensible when those answers agree across the listing, the guarantee and the balance the customer receives.
