TrendAI exceeded $1 billion in cumulative global AWS Marketplace sales, according to its August 20, 2026 announcement . The commercial detail lies in procurement: customers can purchase against existing AWS committed spending and receive consolidated billing.
That mechanism gives channel campaigns a specific destination. TrendAI’s partner portal offers lead generation through co-branded risk assessments and interactive demonstrations. Someone requesting a demonstration must still decide how to buy the service; the marketplace connects that decision with an existing budget.
Assessment starts the sale; procurement determines whether it advances
A risk assessment can give buyers a reason to discuss a specific need. For a partner, its commercial usefulness depends on turning interest into a proposal the customer can assess and purchase. The journey needs to retain what was examined, which service is offered and what subsequent work is included.
Marketplace procurement can reduce a friction separate from the technical question: using a budget and processing a supplier transaction. TrendAI’s announcement describes private offers and consulting-partner purchasing tools. It does not establish that every purchase bypasses the customer’s internal approvals.
AWS accounts for 32% of worldwide cloud-infrastructure spending
Provider shares of worldwide spending in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to Omdia. The market includes infrastructure and platforms, not marketplace cybersecurity purchases.

Worldwide share by spending, not buyer or license counts. Omdia includes third-party BMaaS, IaaS, PaaS, CaaS and serverless delivered over the Internet. It does not measure AWS Marketplace sales, customers’ committed budgets or TrendAI’s market share.

Infrastructure context explains the channel’s scale: Omdia assigns AWS 32% of worldwide spending in Q4 2025. It does not measure marketplace security purchases. For TrendAI, the opportunity is to connect a specific need with the purchasing process of an account already using that environment.
The $1 billion figure represents cumulative sales through the global channel. It is neither an annual growth rate, a single year’s revenue nor partners’ margins. Retaining the unit makes scale readable without converting it into an economic result the announcement does not provide.
Service continuity also belongs in the sales argument
TrendAI is the name of Trend Micro’s enterprise business, announced March 23, 2026 . Brand identity and the purchasing channel can make the offering easier to recognise. The commercial relationship still needs clarity about deployment, support and renewal.
A partner selling a service must explain who interprets the assessment, who configures the solution and who responds to an incident. Those activities consume capacity and affect service pricing. Generating more contacts without defining them increases conversations before increasing repeatable delivery.

| 2026 (forecast) | 121,154 million USD | 92,780 million USD | 25,825 million USD |
Gartner’s forecast, compiled by Statista, separates $121,154 million in security software from $92,780 million in services for 2026. That distinction matters to the channel: a software contract does not itself define the deployment and support work the partner needs to explain and price.
Demand investment finds a criterion when the full journey can be followed: a relevant assessment, an understandable proposal and purchasing that fits the customer’s process. Consolidated billing facilitates one part of the transaction; a clear offer allows the partner to retain the relationship beginning in the campaign. Channel growth depends on both pieces accompanying the same account.
