[Easypromos](https://elacelerador.es/en/company/easypromos/) added an export of rejected purchase receipts in its September 10, 2026, release. The file combines automatic and manual rejections with the reasons for each decision.

The Export button appears in the Rejected tab of the receipt moderation tool. The file includes the rejection date and type, the agent for manual decisions, participation date and a link to the image. Organisers can review individual cases as well as count failed attempts.

The denominator changes interpretation. A rejection rate over received images describes moderation work; a rate over unique people describes how many customers encounter at least one obstacle. Someone uploading another image can increase the first count without representing another lost relationship. Attempts and people should remain separate, together with a distinction between the initial decision and the final resolution after review. Otherwise a corrected submission can still appear as a permanently lost customer.

The file also contains first and last names, email addresses and other registered information. People investigating reasons should restrict access to those identifiers and keep them out of general reports. The agent field can help review decision criteria, but comparing staff requires considering the cases each person handled.

Grouping reasons can inform specific changes. A misunderstood condition may call for a clearer offer; insufficient proof may call for better instructions on photographing the receipt. The record does not establish that a rejection is fraud or, by itself, identify the cause of failed participation.

## Rejection follows a purchase the customer wants to prove

A receipt promotion puts part of its friction after the sale. The person has already bought and needs to demonstrate eligibility for the announced opportunity. Easypromos' rejected-receipt export makes visible a stage an acquisition report can overlook. Its economic consequence is specific: an achieved purchase can subsequently create review work and an unresolved reward expectation. Studying those cases examines the relationship the promotion leaves behind, alongside the volume it attracted. The relevant result is whether a legitimate purchase completes its promised participation, rather than how many negative records can be downloaded.

The relationship also depends on incentive timing. A person buying to participate expects communicated conditions and validation to match. Discovering the promotion afterwards adds another opportunity to an earlier sale. These are different commercial journeys. The launch gives no breakdown, but interpreting validation needs that distinction retained where observable. An accepted receipt proves compliance under a rule. It does not establish the campaign caused the purchase shown. Reporting every accepted ticket as incremental demand would therefore turn eligibility evidence into a sales attribution the underlying record cannot support.

## Automation and human review leave different signals

Easypromos' validation tutorial describes an automatic option combining AI and optical character recognition under administrator-defined rules. It uses validation packages, and the supplier offers 50 free validations to introduce the system. That is capability and a commercial offer rather than an accuracy sample. The new export also includes manual decisions. Validation tutorial .

Reading text from an image and deciding whether it meets a rule are different tasks. A photograph can show a genuine purchase without enough legible information to verify a condition. Another can be readable while outside eligible dates or products. This article assigns no frequencies or assumes every automatic rejection has the same cause. A recorded reason helps relate interpretation to evidence and the applied rule. Review should not reduce all outcomes to a negative label or treat legibility, eligibility and deliberate misuse as one problem simply because each can produce a rejected status.

The release retains the agent responsible for a manual decision. That identifies who acted, but ranking agents without considering their cases gives a poor comparison. One person may handle complex disputes while another examines straightforward proofs. Consistency analysis needs the same criterion applied to comparable situations and later resolution retained. Rejection totals per agent cannot alone measure quality or productivity. Interpretation depends on assigned work and what was verifiable. The export creates an opportunity to investigate those distinctions, rather than automatically establish who performs best from the number of records bearing their name.

## The campaign rule is a commercial specification

A minimum amount, product or purchase date can form part of the validation described in the tutorial. Each condition needs to connect with what participants were told. A brand may attract purchases through a brief promise while review applies a more detailed requirement. Where that detail changes eligibility, clarity belongs to campaign design. The file locates decisions, but the useful correction can be in the opening explanation rather than processing the same misunderstanding faster. Preserving the original promise makes the resulting diagnostic relevant to marketing instead of treating all friction as a moderation problem.

Receipt date and participation date perform different roles. A valid purchase might be submitted outside a participation window where conditions impose one. An image arriving on time might show a different purchase date. The export includes participation and rejection timing, according to Easypromos, allowing part of that chronology to be organised. Interpretation still needs published conditions. Changing a window alters eligibility and should not be called better reading-system quality. The team needs to distinguish a calendar decision from an evidence interpretation before comparing results across successive promotions.

## The image returns to the customer's conversation

Where evidence needs correction, the person must understand what is missing. A reply stating only rejected can prompt another image with the same problem. Specific explanation reduces ambiguity without promising acceptance before review. Resolution records distinguish valid correction, a definitively unmet condition and abandonment. That follow-up explains the cost of initial rejection and recognises when it was an intermediate step. Counting only the first decision would overstate losses and hide purchases whose participation eventually completed. It would also remove the information needed to decide whether instructions or review caused repeated work.

The response to insufficient proof forms part of a brand interaction. In the EAE study carried by Statista, 56.9% said they appreciated advice from a real person and 28.9% notifications about products that interest them. These are general preferences without measuring complaints or Easypromos. For a rejected receipt, that distinction separates resolving a specific doubt from sending another marketing message: the person responding needs the reason and image before requesting new proof.

Repetition consumes capacity too. When each new submission counts as another validation, package and support costs can grow while purchase volume stays unchanged. The public tutorial establishes neither a universal tariff for that journey nor its cost among customers. Commercial accounts need actual contracts and charged units. Keeping purchases, attempts and people separate reveals where added work arises, instead of transforming several checks of one receipt into several relationships created by the campaign. A higher activity count may describe the expense of resolving the same promise rather than additional success in attracting demand.

## Prize inventory belongs to the validation outcome

Accepted proof can provide entry to a draw, a discount or a direct prize under the application. Those mechanics create different obligations. Experience does not finish at receipt status where the reward needs another step. Brands should preserve the opportunity obtained and what fulfilment remains pending. The export release publishes no prize-completion outcomes. Commercial interpretation connects review with the promise because an accepted record can still leave an expectation unresolved. The validation is part of the reward journey rather than a final result proving the promotion has delivered everything offered to its customer.

A later return changes the purchase reading. The release describes no particular returns-reconciliation process, so this article assigns none to the product. It remains part of the economic question: which purchase is retained and which incentive was delivered under campaign rules. An account ending at submitted evidence can finish before the commercial relationship does. That boundary matters when reporting return on investment rather than initial compliance. A valid receipt and a retained sale can be connected, but cannot be treated as identical outcomes merely because the participation system recognises the earlier transaction.

The sale recorded by a receipt can still change later. NRF and Happy Returns estimated that 16.9% of US retail sales in 2024 and 15.8% in 2025 would be returned, figures carried by Statista. They include physical stores and online retail and are estimates made within each year, without describing Spanish promotions. They retain an economic boundary: accepting purchase proof and retaining the sale are different outcomes. The Easypromos file documents the former; a return account would need to reconcile the latter with the reward delivered.

## Reasons need a stable classification

Recorded reasons can contain detail an aggregate account needs to organise without losing meaning. Combining incomplete evidence with ineligible purchases prevents choosing the appropriate response. Splitting every phrase too finely can make one problem appear as several unrelated situations. Useful categories connect with specific actions: clarify conditions, improve instructions or review a decision. This is editorial data work rather than automatic error reduction achieved by downloading a file or adding a chart. The diagnostic becomes useful when it explains which intervention addresses the mechanism represented by the recorded reason.

Categories need stability for period comparisons. Renaming reasons or resolving cases differently after instructions change requires that context disclosed. Improvement should be observed through completed participation, needed corrections and support work. Exported totals can also change with campaign volume. Comparing only absolute rejections can make a larger activity look worse without its proportion or population. Analysis needs the same unit and visible changes affecting the journey. A more detailed export can improve understanding while increasing the number of recognised negative cases, which should not automatically be read as deterioration.

The announcement reports no reduction in rejections or support costs. To assess an improvement after changing instructions, the brand would need to observe subsequent participation under comparable rules and audiences. It should also retain each case’s resolution so that a corrected submission is not counted as a permanent loss.
