Keyrock combines execution, liquidity and settlement in a single counterparty relationship, according to its OTC offering . That commercial promise extends beyond obtaining a quote: it covers a journey that starts when a trade is agreed and ends when the assets are delivered. Selling that continuity requires explaining what the buyer receives at each stage.

The consequence for marketing is concrete. A presentation that attracts a trading desk can still leave questions for the people reviewing the counterparty, the movement of funds or subsequent reconciliation. The offering becomes more persuasive when it enables the entire transaction to be assessed, including conditions and responsibilities, before asking an institution to put it into use.

## The price has to reach settlement

Keyrock’s OTC page describes trades tailored to the required size, timing and settlement arrangements. It also offers API execution and round-the-clock trader coverage. These are stated service features; they do not themselves demonstrate a specific saving or superior execution for every order.

A counterparty comparing offers needs to know what is being compared. A useful quote depends on the asset, amount and timing of the trade. The subsequent journey adds delivery conditions, the work of reconciling what arrives and the exceptions requiring intervention. Reducing the decision to the visible price excludes costs and commitments that arise after acceptance.

In market making , Keyrock says it aggregates liquidity and prices from more than 85 exchanges and provides trading statistics on demand. Its service description distinguishes spreads, depth and execution stability. These concepts provide a more precise commercial vocabulary than treating a high volume as sufficient proof of quality.

Trading volume counts activity. Depth describes how much a market can absorb at different prices; the spread separates the best buy and sell offers; slippage captures the difference between an expected and achieved price. Aggregate market capitalization or volume cannot, on its own, establish those conditions for a client’s order.

## The sector identifies barriers that a technical demonstration cannot solve alone

In Centrifuge’s Tokenization Outlook 2026 survey, covered by Statista, 44% selected regulation and compliance as the largest obstacle to scaling tokenized assets; 32% chose liquidity. Technology and security accounted for 8%. These are operators’ opinions about that market, rather than a measurement of demand for Keyrock’s services.

__Regulation and liquidity dominate the reported barriers (%)__
| Category | Surveyed operators |
| ------------------------- | ------------------ |
| Regulation and compliance | 44% |
| Liquidity | 32% |
| Technology and security | 8% |
| Composability | 6% |
| Education and adoption | 6% |
| Other | 4% |

The result helps organize the commercial explanation. Showing that a connection works answers a technical question. Clarifying the conditions under which a counterparty can trade, what happens when assets are delivered and how the outcome is documented answers another. The connection can be ready while the decision to use it remains unresolved.

Keyrock’s onchain liquidity offering includes a useful detail: it proposes managing liquidity around slippage boundaries specified by the client. The commercial point is to turn a broad ambition, access to liquidity, into a criterion that can be observed for a defined asset, venue and order size.

That criterion does not amount to a universal guarantee. Changing the asset, market or conditions can change the outcome. A credible explanation retains those conditions alongside the evidence rather than concealing them behind a global reach figure. It makes it possible to discuss the service being purchased and the work that will remain with the client.

## Evidence also needs to travel beyond the trading desk

The 2025 Edelman-LinkedIn study introduces a different context: US B2B purchasing. Among final decision-makers outside expert use of the product, 85% considered a vendor’s understanding of business challenges and needs important. Relevant expertise mattered to 74%. The research does not specifically study financial counterparties.

| Understanding the business | 85% |
| Understanding trends | 76% |

| The safest choice | 41% |

Used as a communication principle, the finding calls for more than replacing technical language with slogans. The same trade needs an explanation that a risk reviewer can examine and an operations team can carry out. A commercial document connecting asset, order, settlement, reconciliation and responsibilities can support that internal review without promising to eliminate it.

For Keyrock, one way to demonstrate that approach would be to present a bounded journey: what information is supplied before quoting, what is agreed upon acceptance, how delivery is confirmed and where a discrepancy is handled. Actual contractual and regulatory conditions must determine the content. The person recommending the service can then bring something more useful than a capabilities presentation into their organization.

## Commercial simplicity retains responsibilities

Combining several stages in one relationship can reduce the work of coordinating providers, but it also concentrates dependence on one counterparty. That is the serious objection to the promise of simplicity. Addressing it commercially requires showing the service scope, available information and limits, rather than presenting a single relationship as the absence of risk.

A useful commercial measure follows progress from a qualified conversation to a first correctly settled trade and then repetition under known conditions. That journey distinguishes interest in the brand from actual service use. It also separates the cost of opening the relationship from the work required to enable a new counterparty to trade again.

The institutional growth of a liquidity offering is also decided after the quote. If a counterparty can understand, approve and complete the trade, the breadth of service becomes a verifiable reason to buy. If those questions remain open, a good price will have won attention while the commercial decision remains unfinished.
