# BeInCrypto: the business of explaining what millions of payments are worth

Its AI-agent research found 6.4 million transactions in a sample worth $119,947\. The gap between activity and money gives an institutional information offer a specific purpose.

In a 35-day sample of x402 payments on Base and Solana, BeInCrypto Research recorded 6.4 million transactions worth $119,947 in total. Its 7 October 2026 announcement published the figures together. For an infrastructure buyer, the gap between operation count and money transferred changes the interpretation of the market.

That detail also explains an opportunity for the publisher. Institutional readers need to determine which activity warrants investment and which operation serves a commercial use. Research becomes valuable when it clarifies that distinction before money is committed. Repeating large numbers without the economic question they answer offers a weaker reason to return.

## The unit of measurement changes the story

In the sample, 90.8% of transactions were worth less than one US cent. That is a share of payment count, not money moved. The remaining 9.2% cannot become a revenue share or a count of distinct buyers.

A concentration of micropayments makes it relevant to ask which service is paid for and why payment repeats. Numerous executions can correspond to small-value tasks. Assessing a business also requires knowing who decides to repeat them, what they receive and the cost of delivery. Public transactions describe activity; they do not reveal that complete relationship on their own.

The agent-payments report makes that separation a market-reading problem. Its institutional usefulness lies in framing a comparison that volume alone cannot supply: which task can support income and which conditions allow someone to buy it again.

Comparison requires a defined universe. McKinsey and Artemis estimate $390 billion in identified stablecoin payments, annualised from December 2025, separating business and consumer uses. This is a filtered global estimate, distinct from the 35-day x402 sample. Adding their values or treating them as equivalent markets would erase the distinction readers need.

## Useful information has a specific buyer

A payment supplier and an institution considering a tool do not need identical explanations. The supplier may ask which integration enables small charges. The institution needs to resolve authorisation limits and the consequences of an operation. Those are different business questions even when both sit under an AI-agent label.

The settlement mechanism also changes. Estimated stablecoin-linked card spending rose from $582 million in 2024 to $4.5 billion in 2025 in the Statista series based on McKinsey and Artemis. Conversion to local fiat enables payment through conventional channels. This is card spending, not issuer revenue or evidence of agent-payment adoption.

BeInCrypto's editorial offer becomes more precise when it identifies the decision before choosing a format. A long report earns its place if it gathers evidence readers need to compare. A shorter explanation can settle a decisive rule. More output does not automatically increase the information an institution can use.

For a commercial agreement, that precision defines what the publisher supplies: an explanatory asset, a documented discussion or distribution to an audience whose relevance can be demonstrated. A later purchase of the advertised service depends on the institution's offer and follow-up. Turning it into the publisher's promise would combine different responsibilities.

__Useful information has a specific buyer__
| Publisher work | Outcome requiring customer information |
| ---------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| Agreed production and distribution | Subsequent use of information inside the institution |
| Response the publisher can record | Conversion of that response into a sale |
| Update with new evidence | Renewal for a continuing need |

Expand notesCollapse notes

Recurrence needs a question that remains open. Changing authorisation conditions or new comparable data can make an update alter a decision. Repeating the same message adds production cost without explaining why the reader or partner needs another period of the agreement.

## Independence is part of commercial value

The first tokenization report edition declares an independent editorial model with no commercial sponsorship. That rule defines the scope of that research. Selling a collaboration requires preserving the distinction between funding distribution or production and purchasing a conclusion.

The tension has an economic consequence: the customer can prefer a favourable message while the professional reader needs the condition limiting its use. Removing that condition can make an asset more comfortable for the sponsor and less useful for its recipient. Credibility depends on retaining information that changes the decision.

The publisher demonstrates that discipline in its micropayment analysis by placing transferred value beside transaction count. Its strongest institutional growth rests on explaining what a figure permits a reader to conclude. Each new agreement needs to preserve a reason for the reader to trust the next investigation.
