[Olivarte](https://elacelerador.es/en/company/olivarte/) increased revenue from its [Google](https://elacelerador.es/en/company/google-company-43a3948c/) Ads campaigns in Spain by 43.8% in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period of 2025, while investment rose 29.3%. These are the figures reported by [CrackPPC](https://elacelerador.es/en/company/crackppc/) in its case study published on October 6\. Behind the growth lies a decision more specific than increasing the budget: organising advertising around the commercial differences within an extra-virgin olive oil catalogue.

The retailer began in Linares, Jaén, with a selection of Spanish oils and a proposition centred on bringing olive oil culture to consumers. Its catalogue progressively added producers, varieties, origins and formats: picual, arbequina and hojiblanca, premium products, larger containers and gifts. That variety broadens the possibilities for sales, but also makes investment allocation a selection problem. Different products can generate revenue with different margins and paths to purchase.

The collaboration with CrackPPC began in June 2025\. According to the agency, the aim was to increase sales and investment while maintaining efficiency and moving into new markets. The response involved reviewing existing accounts, classifying products more effectively and giving each part of the advertising structure a specific role. Spain, Germany, [Meta](https://elacelerador.es/en/company/meta/) 's product catalogue and searches for olive oil varieties eventually gained their own places within that structure.

## Revenue grew faster than the Spanish budget

The Google Ads Spain table compares January–June 2026 with January–June 2025\. Alongside the 29.3% increase in investment and 43.8% rise in revenue, the agency reports conversions up 21.7% and an 11.2% improvement in ROAS. The four indicators distinguish activity, expenditure and return. Revenue from the channel grew 14.5 percentage points faster than the budget, while conversions increased more slowly than either spending or revenue.

__Olivarte: changes in Google Ads Spain (change (%))__
| Category | Change against January–June 2025 |
| ----------- | -------------------------------- |
| Investment | 29.3 change (%) |
| Conversions | 21.7 change (%) |
| Revenue | 43.8 change (%) |
| ROAS | 11.2 change (%) |

That distinction matters when reading the case. ROAS relates revenue attributed to advertising to advertising expenditure. An 11.2% improvement describes a relative change in that return; it does not mean the result was an 11.2-times ROAS. The improvement accompanies an expanding budget, so the reported evolution combines more commercial activity with a higher return for each unit invested within the Spanish campaigns. Both growth and efficiency are part of the account's reported development.

The analysis concerns Google Ads Spain and those two half-year periods. That frame makes it possible to follow the relationship between investment and revenue without turning a channel metric into Olivarte's total growth. It also retains the agency's name for conversions: these are the actions recorded as conversions in the table. The commercial story CrackPPC presents rests on the indicators together, rather than simply on the number showing the largest increase.

The evolution is particularly relevant to the problem the project had identified: a general return objective could conceal differences between products. The agency says it set out to look beyond overall ROAS and understand the profitability of each product type. Margins for premium oils, larger formats and individual references consequently became part of planning. The priority was to recognise where capacity for growth existed and allocate investment using that information.

## An olive oil catalogue is also a data structure

The first task was to reorganise campaigns Olivarte already had running. CrackPPC describes changes to settings, audience and geographical segmentation, search terms, traffic, conversion goals and product criteria. The intervention sought to retain accumulated learning while gaining more control over a structure that needed to respond to an increasingly broad catalogue. Product classification formed a central part of that review, connecting the account's organisation to the offer being advertised.

The agency added custom labels to the product feed. These distinguished bestsellers, relevant categories and products selected for Black Friday. In ecommerce, the feed is the structured product information supporting catalogue advertising. Adding commercial criteria makes it possible to work with groups reflecting business decisions, alongside the characteristics of each oil. The product remains the same; what changes is the way it is selected and given priority within advertising.

That detail connects marketing and commercial management. A category can contain products that appear similar to somebody browsing the store, while a sales or profitability classification answers another question: which references merit their own investment strategy? Olivarte's case organises both readings within the same catalogue. Advertising segmentation consequently draws on differences that matter to the business, instead of treating every product as part of one homogeneous offer that should receive the same treatment.

Olivarte's storefront , consulted on October 18, illustrates that variety within a single format. Among its 500-millilitre picual oils, it lists Hacienda el Palo Premium at €12.30, Elizondo Nº3 at €19.90 and Verde Esmeralda Premium at €28.50\. These are the store's prices on that date. Size and variety coincide, while producer and price position differ. Grouping solely by format or type of oil therefore provides a different reading from selecting products by their commercial behaviour and the profitability examined by the agency.

The Black Friday reference adds the commercial calendar. The agency includes products selected for that occasion among the feed's classification criteria. Product selection can therefore be prepared as part of the information organising campaigns, going beyond a change to advertising copy. That capability is relevant to a retailer combining regular purchases, gift products and oils in different formats, without requiring the entire catalogue to be reconsidered from the beginning for every commercial occasion.

## Making room for priority products and exploration

The new structure introduced an additional Shopping campaign for products outside the priority campaigns. Its function, according to CrackPPC, was to give them coverage and identify performance opportunities. That space matters because selecting highlighted products can leave other references with fewer opportunities to find demand. The additional campaign kept exploration inside a structure that was simultaneously concentrating part of its commercial effort, allowing these two roles to coexist within the account.

A dedicated campaign called Top Ventas y Rentabilidad, meaning Top Sales and Profitability, followed. The agency isolated the better-performing references to give them their own investment and strategy and avoid interference with the rest. The two decisions serve different purposes: one maintains visibility for products outside priority groups; the other treats established strong performers differently. Together, they make the division of work between finding opportunities and developing those already identified easier to see.

Profitability therefore enters the process before the aggregate result is reviewed. The agency describes a classification incorporating margin differences and commercial potential, rather than sales volume alone. This helps explain why catalogue organisation occupies so much of the case study. Generating more revenue and deciding which products can support more investment are related parts of the problem, although one metric cannot resolve every aspect of both decisions.

The Spanish table shows the result reported for the channel: revenue rising faster than the budget and an improvement in return. The campaign description explains the actions accompanying that evolution. Labels, priority groups and additional coverage are identifiable decisions inside the account. The case's interest lies in connecting the organisation of the commercial offer with these specific advertising-distribution decisions, rather than leaving the growth figures disconnected from the work described.

## Searching for picual differs from searching for a brand

Another intervention was a search campaign focused on olive oil varieties. CrackPPC separated that intent from brand searches and queries for specific producers. The distinction fits a catalogue containing picual, arbequina and hojiblanca, alongside oils from different makers. A buyer can arrive with a variety in mind, a familiar brand or an interest in discovering a product. The announced structure reserves space for those differences instead of placing them all in the same group.

The agency says that separation allowed advertisements and landing pages to be adapted to a more specific audience familiar with the product. The relationship between query and store content is part of the acquisition mechanism here. Variety supplies one way to organise the journey, while producer and brand supply others. The campaign does not have to treat all these searches as one generic expression of demand for olive oil.

Olivarte's current website also reflects different ways of approaching the product. Alongside bestsellers, it offers content about lechín, nevadillo and manzanilla oils and presents El Club del AOVE, a monthly delivery proposition. These are elements of the storefront consulted for this article. They show a combination of product choice, olive oil knowledge and continuing purchases, beyond an individual transaction arriving through a campaign. The business's cultural proposition has a concrete expression in its content and the way it organises the offer.

The case also includes Demand Gen work and stronger remarketing audiences. Within the strategy described, this adds journeys beyond an explicit search for a variety or brand. Organising the catalogue and audiences gives customer acquisition and contact with people already familiar with the store different functions. CrackPPC presents these actions as part of its account review, alongside product selection and campaign adaptation, rather than as unrelated additions to the advertising programme.

The search context also distinguishes the general category from a more specific formulation. In a joint Google Trends comparison for Spain, “aceite de oliva” reached an index of 100 during October 4–10, 2026, while “aceite de oliva virgen extra” recorded 10\. The second query peaked at 25 during April 5–11, 2026; the general query scored 76 that week. The chart's 92 complete weeks show that the two expressions do not always move together. This is relative search interest, rather than sales volume or Olivarte's performance. It places the diversity of queries in context for a strategy that also separates brands, producers and varieties.

## Meta moved from sending traffic to working with the catalogue

On Meta, the agency describes a change of direction: from a structure centred on traffic towards one more closely linked to sales and complementary to Google Ads. One principal intervention was greater use of the product catalogue within campaigns. The aim was to display relevant references dynamically to each audience and make better use of the breadth of Olivarte's range. Here too, the catalogue became a strategic component, beyond its role as a store inventory.

The reorganisation linked segmentation, products, creative assets and copy. CrackPPC says adapting these elements to audiences made it possible to use Meta to support categories, promotions and strategic products according to commercial needs. The change affects what is shown and to whom, as well as the campaign objective. Advertising works with a selection of the offer, so that message and product have a more precise relationship with the chosen audience and the occasion being addressed.

The complementary role alongside Google can also be understood through this function. Search campaigns capture explicit queries about brands, producers or varieties. Catalogue and creative work on Meta organise a different way of bringing products to audiences. The case describes both channels within Olivarte's acquisition strategy, each with its own structure. Coherence comes from the commercial reading of the catalogue, while the way products are distributed depends on the advertising environment.

Measurement was another component of the collaboration. In the testimonial published by CrackPPC, Olivarte co-founder [Jose Manuel Cabo Fontiveros](https://elacelerador.es/en/person/jose-manuel-cabo-fontiveros/) highlights the technical help with configuring events and organising the Meta and Google accounts. His comment places instrumentation inside the project's actual work. Decisions about conversions, campaigns and growth require a measurement foundation alongside catalogue management and creative execution, giving the commercial and technical parts of the project a shared point of reference.

## Spain and Germany received separate accounts

Olivarte was already selling outside Spain when the collaboration began. Germany was the first market where the international strategy was strengthened. In August 2025, the agency separated Google Ads activity for Spain and Germany into independent accounts. That decision made it possible to manage budgets, profitability objectives and structures differently by country, as well as treating campaign learning separately for the two markets.

The separation introduces another unit of decision-making. The product can be shared, while a market account has its own budget and objectives. CrackPPC describes country-level control as part of expanding international acquisition. The strategy went beyond adding territories to an existing account: it reorganised management so each market's performance could have its own reading and investment allocation, while the business continued to work with the same underlying product range.

The account adds that, from November, the international strategy also incorporated Meta trials for Germany and France, differentiated from Spain. The October case publication describes the beginning of expansion into Austria and Belgium as well. These are steps in the international development discussed by the agency. The dated first-half table, meanwhile, concerns Google Ads Spain and retains that specific scope when presenting the percentage changes reported for investment, conversions, revenue and ROAS.

Olivarte's experience consequently brings together three scales of work: the product reference, search intent and market. The feed introduces commercial priorities; campaigns separate functions within acquisition; and national accounts give budgets and objectives their own framework. Spain's reported growth is easier to understand through those decisions than through the final revenue increase alone. The story concerns how the work preceding that result was organised, connecting catalogue economics with the practical management of paid acquisition.

## Who's who and how to read the figures

Olivarte is the specialist extra-virgin olive oil retailer at the centre of the case. Its own documents identify Olivarte 2020 SL, based in Linares, Jaén, and registered with Jaén's Commercial Registry. The company brings together Spanish-origin oils from different producers, varieties and formats. Jose Manuel Cabo Fontiveros is identified as co-founder in the testimonial published by the agency, providing the retailer's perspective on the work described.

CrackPPC is the agency publishing the campaign case and describing a collaboration beginning in June 2025\. The original publication date is October 6, 2026\. Its Google Ads Spain figures compare January–June 2026 with January–June 2025: investment, conversions, revenue and ROAS. The data concern that channel and those periods, with each indicator retaining the name used by the source. This is the basis for the article's main numerical comparison.

The feed is the structured product information used in catalogue advertising. Custom labels introduce criteria such as sales, categories or promotional selections. Shopping, Search and Demand Gen are campaign types the agency discusses within Google Ads. On Meta, the catalogue organises dynamic product presentation alongside audiences, creative assets and messages. Separate country accounts add control over investment budgets and objectives, giving another layer to the organisation described in the case.

ROAS means return on advertising spend, relating attributed revenue to expenditure on advertisements. The 11.2% is its reported relative change, while 43.8% and 29.3% describe revenue and investment changes in the Spanish table. The 14.5-percentage-point difference between those growth rates is calculated from the published figures. This reading keeps the volume of activity, channel return and product profitability separate while explaining their relationship within the strategy.
